I’m very happy to announce that Dustin Weaver is joining the AP as our new Congress editor, a key leadership position in the Washington bureau.Dustin is a smart and savvy editor with broad experience in Washington. Since 2014, he’s served as news editor at The Hill, where he has overseen the paper’s print and digital coverage of Congress, the White House and K Street. One reporter who worked for Dustin put it simply: He makes the stories he works on better.
